Design Preparation:
Define the design objectives and requirements, including the function, size, and cost of the electronic device.
Select appropriate PCB substrate materials and components.
Determine design specifications and standards.
Circuit Schematic Design:
Use circuit design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.) to draw circuit schematics.
The schematic should include all component symbols, pin connection relationships, and power and signal paths.
PCB layout design:
Based on the circuit schematic, place the components on the PCB board.
Consider the connection relationship between components, signal paths, power and ground layout, and other factors.
Determine the size of the PCB board, number of layers, aperture and other parameters.
Layer design and impedance control:
For multilayer PCB designs, determine the location and thickness of each conductive layer, as well as the material and thickness of the insulating layers.
Control the impedance characteristics of the transmission line by adjusting the width and spacing of the conductors and the design of the layer stack structure.
